Last night, they were filming some crazy shot for the new Spiderman movie involving the Williamsburg Bridge (Nick mentioned it on his solo roof talk here).
They had huge lights in the middle of the East River fixated on the bridge itself. No traffic was stopped and both the bike and the walking path was open so I don’t think they were filming on the bridge itself or at least they hadn’t started when I biked over at 12:30 AM. My guess is that they were filming on the ground in Brooklyn and lit up the bridge to get it in the background. Money gets stuff done.
